I noticed you bringing Rumble at the River back this year. I'm to see this. Will the rules be the same this year? And do you have a link to the rules?
Thanks
Roger

Roger,
Yes we are having the Rumble at the River this year again. They always put on a great show and are great group to work with. I have a link below that has the rules for their class. We are also going to have the Pro 5.80 and 6.60 groups some this year. I am working on getting their dates confirmed. Also http://www.centexhotrods.com is where they post a lot of their information and discuss the events. Thank you for your interest!

Kirk when you say Pro 5.80, 6.60 do you mean index racing? |

So far I have confirmed June 16th. I am working on trying to get more of these events. I think this is becoming a popular class. If we can get enough interest, we can have our own index races. Thank you for the interest.

We are looking forward to another great season at the River...Roger, I saw your post on Centex....we might be revising the rules a little to allow more folks in. Basically the main things we look at are: correct tire size (true 10.5), full bodied cars (no chassis or backhalf), single power adder, and working lights (for safety mainly). There are some weight penalties for different combos, but we operate on "gentlemens rules"...so we won't scale your car unless someone has challenged it. Little River doesn't have their own scales, but we will have a set in case someone's car is challenged. We want some close heads up action...excited that racing season is starting soon - glad to have you aboard! Call me if you have any more questions! Michele 512-652-8775 __________________ -Michele- |
